BaRRé La Vie

About us

We understand the nonstop momentum of roles that we women have, and our goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space to reenergize and relax – to move, dance, sweat, connect, network with other like-minded women, have fun, and learn how to trust ourselves and our magical power more than ever!

Our philosophy and goal is to empower women to understand the concept of consciously choosing; slowing down the mind, being present, letting the body flow, and establish the habit of perspective…

Choosing our perspective; choosing how we wish to show up for ourselves, and understanding that we attract what we are (what we think, what we feel and what we believe) within’

Our Values

Community

we create support-systems → and we learn life tools and skills, and have more fun

Inspiration

we create self-trust and confidence → and we more brightly shine and share our light

Commitment

we create action-taking momentum → and we become more aligned to attract the things we value

Why BaRRé La Vie?

it’s so much bigger than we can imagine!

The background story of BaRRé La Vie was inspired by the personal experience of founder Nicole. By not only witnessing but experiencing the lack of quality support available for women (in particularly mothers) in Greece combined with her creative entrepreneur background and dance history, Nicole was inspired to create the BaRRé La Vie brand.

Letter from Nicole

“I am so happy to finally share this space that we can come together and build our community of amazing, Beautiful Kickass Women.”

My classes usually begin with an intention setting of being present where we are in class.  A gentle reminder to appreciate ourselves and our bodies and setting a state of gratitude before we begin any class. I am highly inspired by dance movement and my music selection is very intentional as I recognize the benefits of our mind being taken on a journey through music and how this maximizes our full body/soul experience and progress while in class.

I graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a BFA major in the Contemporary Dance program and A minor in Art Therapy.  I received my Barre instructor certification from the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association. Aside from my professional studies I grew up in Toronto, Canada, in a highly entrepreneurial family, meaning that I to the core understand the inner/outer life balance challenge and how it affects our self-confidence, self-trust and influences our family/work relationships.

Over the years have developed a unique skill set in understanding how it’s never too late for us to recreate our balance and rediscover ourselves – on our own terms.  Through the wide taught teachings of influencers such as Abraham Hicks, Louise Hay and Master Sri Akarshana, I actively bring inspired ways of thinking and consciously choosing into my classes to empower and ground myself and my students. I intend on sharing and spreading my own personal challenges and discoveries to help other women uncover and discover their own inner goddess power.

For as long as I can remember myself, I have memories of nonstop movement, it being a bicycle, an ice rink, rollers, hide-and-seek, chasing with the kids in my neighborhood, or even jumping rope and dancing. I have always liked gymnastics, because, not only is it something essential for the body, but also because it filled me up with energy. During my adolescence, I tried martial arts and then I became a gym patron, an avid fan of group classes and free weights.

The first degree I acquired is in Nursing and it has helped me to obtain proper anatomy, physiology and first aid knowledge. I majored in psychiatry, a fact that enables me to appropriately approach and treat the trainees.

I have been a divorced mother for over ten years. At the time of the divorce, I decided to be p rofessionally involved in what I loved since I was a little girl, fitness. Thus, I attended seminars and lessons in private schools and I qualified in group training programs, such as zumba, tumbao, tae box, Ima, spinning, kangoo jumps, trx and pilates. I have experience working with small groups and personal training. I have also attended many seminars concerning injury treatment and rehabilitation.

My belief is that a person evolves both mentally and physically during all their life and everybody can take up fitness at any age they may decide to do so.

Yoga comes from the Sanskrit root “yuj” that means “union, to unite or to connect “. It is the union of the mind, body and spirit. For me, practicing yoga has made me reconnect with myself. I have always been passionate about wellness and fitness but it wasn’t until I finished my psychology bachelor that I decided to pursue yoga teaching. I completed my first 200hr YTTC of sunset energy school majoring in vinyasa yoga.

I am also an advocate of strength training and CrossFit.

I truly believe that “your only limit is yourself” and as such through my classes, I teach my students how to be confident and believe in themselves. I like to combine strength and flexibility and help my students achieve anything that they put their mind to. My greatest goal is to make my students become better than me and invest time in themselves where they feel strong and harmonious.

As a respected yoga teacher based in Athens, my main goal is to lead women down the long path of discovery that yoga provides. I truly believe that through yoga practice, you can discover your deep breath & your true self. You can find your unique way to connect with yourself & the world & to fill your life with love & light.

I have practiced yoga since 2014, and I took the 200h yoga course in 2019. That was when my life changed, and I have never worked ever since. I have also taken seminars in yin yoga, restorative yoga, Thai massage, reflection & meditation. After five years of professional experience, I completed the 300h yoga course in 2024, being committed to my purpose, while constantly exploring and growing. Whether you want to move your body, reach spiritual growth, or be more present, I know you’ll benefit from my practice.
